Building Maintenance and Technical Service Department

The Building Maintenance and Technical Service Department takes care of the technical condition of the Museum’s buildings and infrastructure through their constant supervision and reporting faults. It is also responsible for planning and signing maintenance agreements, creating repair plans and carrying out – together with drawing up protocols – acceptance of maintenace and repair works. The department also carries out periodic technical inspections and keeps logbooks.

If possible, the Building Maintenance and Technical Service Department is also responsible for day-to- day repair of equipment and appliances.

The Building Maintenance and Technical Service Department cooperates with the Logistics Department within the scope of monitoring the technical condition of IT infrastructure and planning development and replacement of the infrastructure.

Independent Multi-person Position for Investment

The Independent Multi-person Position for Investment creates investment and conservation work plans, participates in the process of preparing applications for financing and other documents necessary to make investments, including conservation and construction permits. The cell represents the Museum during investment proceedings, supervises investments and acceptance on its behalf. It is also responsible for supervising repair and conservation works carried out in the Museum in cooperation with the Building Maintenance and Technical Service Department.

Independent Multi-person Position for Investment Supervision

The Independent Multi-person Position for Investment Supervision represents the Museum in the supervision of implemented investments, both in the scope of their compliance with the procurement, project, and binding law and of their technical standard. The cell carries our acceptances of construction work and installations on behalf of the Museum and is responsible for supervising financial settlement of construction works.

Independent Multi-person Position for Obtaining Subsidies

The Independent Multi-person Position for Obtaining Subsidies is responsible for obtaining exterior financial means necessary for the Museum to make investments, develop, and carry out its statutory activities. For this purpose the position monitors programmes financing the implementation of public tasks, checks the availability of EU and foreign programmes and funds, obtains funds from domestic sources, especially the subsidies offered by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The cell is also responsible for obtaining and verifying partners for the purposes of statutory activities of the Museum.

The task of the Independent Multi-person Position for Obtaining Subsidies is also to cooperate with other cells of the Museum within the scope of obtaining extrabudgetary funds.
