Summer in The Praga Museum of Warsaw

Do you spend summer in the city? Do you like hiking, architecture, photos and movies? Would you like to get to know one of the oldest districts of Warsaw? You are invited for summer walks around the Praga Museum of Warsaw and Old Praga neighborhood.

Both our adults and children have fun on our walks. We walk in small groups, which makes it easier to keep safety rules and ensure comfort of sightseeing.

What’s new in the Museum? – a guided tour around permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Praga Museum of Warsaw

Coming back to you after a break with new exhibitions: a temporary exhibition of photographs by Zelda Klimkowska, refreshed artistic installations and renovated Jewish prayer hauses. Look at the portraits of Praga citizens taken by a photographer who lived in Praga for years and discuss how the neighborhood is changing.

Our exhibitions are available for visitors from Thursday to Sunday.

The guided tours take place on Friday, July 24, 31 and August 21, 28 of from 14.00 till 16.00.

The revitalization trail – a guided tour around the Praga district

Old Praga, that was neglected for many years, has recently undergone a rapid gentrification process. Ancient tenements are being renovated. Elegant hotels and restaurants are being built in former factories. Old pubs are turning into hipster places.

Who is responsible for the revitalization process? How does the revitalization change the community of Praga? We will answer these questions during a tour dedicated to newly renovated monuments.

The tour begins at the Praga Museum of Warsaw.

The tour takes place on Thursday, July 23, 30 from 14.00 till 16.00.

Multicultural Praga – a guided tour around the Praga district

Praga is a multicultural melting pot. People of various religions and nationalities lived and still live here. Marvel places of worship of three religions: Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Judaism. Learn the stories of communities such as Jews, Roma, Georgians and Koreans!
