Jazz Dance Party with Młynarski, Namysłowski, and the “Melodia i Rytm” Orchestra
A 1940s-style jazz dance party performed by the “Melodia i Rytm” orchestra, led by Jan Emil Młynarski and Jacek Namysłowski.
Extended description: Danceable jazz inspired by the 1940s will fill the New Town Market Square to mark the 80th anniversary of the beginning of Warsaw’s postwar reconstruction and the establishment of the Bureau of Reconstruction of the Capital. The “Melodia i Rytm” orchestra, composed of outstanding musicians, will perform music once heard among the ruins of postwar Warsaw. With joy and shared dancing, the event recalls a time when music united a devastated city.
