From Sigismund to Copernicus: Discover 19th-Century Warsaw through “The Doll”
We’ll set out on a walk in the footsteps of the characters from “The Doll”, exploring the streets and alleys of Warsaw that Bolesław Prus immortalized in his novel.
During the walk, we’ll discover what life was like in the 19th-century capital, visit places connected to the lives of Stanisław Wokulski and Izabela Łęcka, and listen to excerpts from the book that will bring old Warsaw to life.
Meeting place: at the ticket counters of the Museum of Warsaw
Agnieszka Noworyta – Licensed Warsaw tour guide. She gives tours not only of the city but also of many museums. She is also a museum educator. She loves strolling through the streets of Warsaw, showcasing the city’s beauty, and sharing stories about it. In her storytelling, she strives to make the listener feel like a part of the story. She works with both children and adults. She also gives tours in Spanish and English.
