Publications to learn Polish as a foreign language
The Legends of the Old Town in Warsaw
This book is a collection of texts and tasks thematically related to Warsaw’s Old Town. The publication is primarily dedicated to foreigners learning Polish as a foreign language, and to their teachers.
Thanks to the glossary in Polish, English, Russian and Chinese, and to the answer key, our book is suitable for both group and individual studying.
The collection of texts and tasks, illustrated with beautiful graphics, was created as part of the award-winning 2019 European Language Label project of teaching a foreign language at the Museum of Warsaw—Warsaw for the Intermediates.
Sensory guide to Warsaw and to learning the Polish language
The Museum of Warsaw carries out language projects and develops didactic materials to be used in teaching Polish and in acquainting foreigners with the capital city history and culture.
A free publication for school-age foreigners and their teachers was produced in cooperation with the Foundation for the Development of the Educational System.
The book serves both as an aid in teaching Polish and as a unique guide to Warsaw, accompanied by tasks. The readers get to know a colourful, trendy, mysterious, sweet and vibrant Warsaw; they find out about walking routes which encourage them to tour our city while using little more than their senses.
The publication is complete with glossaries in English and Russian, an answer key and a bank of ideas for teachers.
