“The Things of Warsaw” have arrived!
The book accompanying our core exhibition is now here. As all featured objects of each of the rooms described in it, the publication is a thing of beauty itself. A perfect reference work both before and after the visit, it can be purchased at the entrance to the museum for PLN 49.

Tradition, Industry and the Far East. Museum of Pharmacy is now open!
The Antonina Leśniewska Museum of Pharmacy was founded in 1985. It has been a division of the Museum of Warsaw since 2002 and is currently located on 31/33 Piwna Street, less than 200 metres away from MoW’s main seat.
Grand Opening of the Museum of Warsaw / 26-28th May
26th May 2017, 8 PM, after years of intensive restoration works, the Museum of Warsaw will open its door to the general public again. In 11 modernised tenement houses at 28-42 Old Town Market Square, a new core exhibition, a diverse program of events, meetings, workshops and tours will await the visitors, who will also be able to enjoy the Museum’s café, library, cinema and observation point. We look forward to seeing you there on the last weekend of May (26-28 May).
Oslo study visit
Representatives of four Norwegian institutions generously shared their expertise in creating exhibitions, digitising and making museum objects available, as well as running effective educational programs.
