Room of Clothing

In The Room of Clothing, you can see clothes and accessories that once belonged to Warsaw residents.

The oldest items date back to the era of the Piast dynasty, while the most recent ones are from modern times. They show how the appearance of the capital’s residents has changed over time and tell the story of famous companies and events important to the city. They illustrate social and cultural changes, such as the democratization of society and the emancipation of women.

Many of them ended up in the museum as gifts, along with stories about the fates of their former owners.
