Room of Silverware and Plated Silverware
The Museum of Warsaw collection of silverware and plated silverware is a rich collection of functional and decorative objects made in Warsaw’s craft workshops and industrial plants. The oldest exhibit dates back to the 1740s, while the youngest is from the 1980s.
The collected objects showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of Warsaw’s goldsmithing and silverware production. They also give a sense of the luxury and comfort of the furnishings in the wealthy homes of old Warsaw.
