My Museum, My Story

My Museum, My Story is a project addressed to foreigners learning Polish which was realised between 2 July and 13 August. Ukrainian and Chinese women participated in it. Today, they all reside in Warsaw and are learning the Polish language.

During the meetings held as part of the project, the participants got acquainted with the Things of Warsaw core exhibition at the Museum of Warsaw. They acted as curators and, under supervision of the Museum staff, they developed their own concept for an exposition, prepared materials and organised an official opening.

The participants organised guided tours in Polish and Ukrainian throughout the duration of the exhibition. One of the participants became an educator at the Museum of Warsaw.
