Konferencja „Patronat artystyczny w dziejach Środkowej Europy”

W dniach 19–21 września 2019 roku odbędzie się 27. Konferencja Grupy Roboczej Niemieckich i Polskich Historyków Sztuki i Konserwatorów, którą organizuje Instytut Historii Sztuki UW wraz z Muzeum Warszawy.

27. Konferencja Grupy Roboczej Niemieckich i Polskich Historyków Sztuki i Konserwatorów poświęcona będzie zagadnieniu patronatu artystycznego w dziejach Środkowej Europy (Artistic Patronage in Central Europe: From Private Foundations to State Art/Kunstpatronage in Mitteleuropa zwischen Privatstiftung und Staatskunst). Szeroki zakres chronologiczny od średniowiecza po XXI w., perspektywa międzynarodowa oraz nastawienie na sproblematyzowane ujęcie tematu pozwolą ukazać rozmaite mechanizmy które stały za inicjatywami fundatorskimi o charakterze zarówno prywatnym, jak też państwowym.

Muzeum Warszawy jest gospodarzem drugiego dnia konferencji, w czasie którego uczestnicy wezmą udział w panelu wykładowym i zwiedzą Muzeum.
